Obituary for Donna Sharon Plaster

Donna Sharon Whited Plaster born May 5, 1946, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Richlands, VA, and was the daughter of the late Jim and Lou Venia Whited.

Donna and her husband, Dickie, have faithfully pastored Harvest Outreach Ministries since 1994. She was a loving mother to the church and was known by everyone to be a mighty prayer warrior. She had a heart for anyone in need. She selflessly fulfilled the great commission. Truly beautiful on the inside and the outside, Donna was crowned Miss Honaker High School in 1963. She loved to cook, laugh, and entertain. She loved Alabama football. Donna lived her life for her husband, children, grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, and her church family, but most of all for her Lord Jesus Christ.

You could always tell when her grandchildren entered the room by the way she lit up with a smile and a gleam in her eye.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, J.P. Whited, David “Pump” Whited, Randy Whited; a very special niece, Ashley Whited.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Dickie Joe Plaster; children, Sheila Robinette and husband Jon Crum, Ginger Cook and husband Shea, Chris Plaster and wife Shanna, Karen Dye and husband Lee; sisters, Anita Ray, Betty Cole and husband Ern, Judy Miller and husband Jack, Kay Webb; sisters-in-law, Helen Whited, Lilly Keen Whited, Alita Whited; grandchildren, Morgan McGhee, Amelia Cook, Claire Cook, Cate Plaster, Christian Plaster, Lilly Beth Plaster, Grant Dye, Rozalyn Dye, Drew Dye, Brian Crum; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.
